Installation procedure

Do the following to install components of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 remotely:

  1. Start the remote installation in any of these ways:
  2. Specify the machines where the components are to be installed. When adding a single machine to the management server, just specify that machine's name or IP address, and the credentials of an account with administrative privileges on that machine.
  3. Specify the components that you want to install. Please keep in mind that the component features, such as Deduplication, cannot be installed if the main component is not installed or selected for installation.
  4. If prompted, specify one or more of the following parameters depending on your component selection:
  5. On the summary page, review the list of machines where the components will be installed, the components that will be installed, and the installation settings for those components. Click Proceed to start the installation.

Once the installation starts, the program displays the names of the machines on which the components are being installed.

Update

To update one or more components on a remote machine, repeat the installation procedure.
