Restricting upload request files

To set a file restriction, open the upload request, turn on the restriction toggle switch, and type the desired value in the field that appears.

To remove a file restriction, turn off the restriction toggle switch.

There are three upload file restrictions:

  • The maximum number of files to upload at a time.

  • The maximum size of any single file.

  • A list of allowed file extensions.

For file extension restrictions, type in the file extension of an allowed file type (with or without a leading dot) and press the space key. You can enter as many extensions as you like.
The Cyber Protect Cloud administrator can set a system-wide maximum file size. If you also set a maximum file size for your upload request, the lower of the two limits will be applied.
The administrator can also specify a system-wide list of blocked file types. These take precedence over any allowed file types you specify for an upload request.
