Sync

You can control which folders (if any) you want to synchronize to the desktop client through the Web client. All folders that you create are set to sync automatically. Folders shared with you are not automatically synchronized. Configuration is performed via the sync button for each folder. Folders can be synced at any level.

A file in the local sync folder will not be synced if another process has open handles to the file. The handles must be released before a file can be synced. Once a file is free of handles, the sync process can take up to 5 minutes to begin.

Syncing content

  1. Open the Web client and log in.
  2. Click on the Sync & Share tab and navigate to the folder you want to sync with the desktop client.
  3. Click on the Sync icon next to the folder name.
Sync & Share folders that you own always have 2-way sync enabled. Folders shared to you with Read-Only permissions are synced 1-way.
If you have already enabled Sync for a folder, disabling it will delete all locally stored content for that folder.
  4. Select the Sync button.
  5. The desired content will now be synced to your desktop sync folder.
