Updating the Account Server certificate
If you upgrade to Acronis Cyber Protect 16 from an older version, and the management server is installed on a Windows machine, you must update the certificate in the Account Server folder.
Prerequisites
- You have administrator access to the Acronis Cyber Protect management server.
- You have administrator access to the Acronis Cyber Infrastructure storage node.
- You know the credentials of the user account who registered the Acronis Cyber Infrastructure storage node to the management server. For more information, see About Acronis Cyber Infrastructure.
To update the certificate

On the management server, stop the Acronis Service Manager Service.

Open Command Prompt.

Run the following command:
net stop asm

- In Windows Explorer, navigate to the %ProgramData%\Acronis\AccountServer folder.

Rename the following files:

ca.cert to ca.cert.old

ca.key to ca.key.old
-

Start the Acronis Service Manager Service.

Open Command Prompt.

Run the following command:
net start asm
Acronis Cyber Protect creates new certificate files in the %ProgramData%\Acronis\AccountServer folder.

On the Acronis Cyber Infrastructure storage node, run the following command to update the certificate:
# vstorage-abgw-register update-crt
- Specify the password of the user account who registered the Acronis Cyber Infrastructure storage node to the management server.
