If the parameter value is true or is not specified, the backup content will be added to the data catalog automatically as soon as it is created. The data catalog enables you to easily find the required version of data using GUI and select it for recovery. If the value is false, the backup will be faster but the data catalog will display no more than 3 levels of nested items.
