BURLINGTON, MA – April 14, 2025 — Acronis, a global leader in cybersecurity and data protection, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has included the company on its prestigious annual Storage 100 list. Recognized in the data recovery, observability and resiliency category, this list spotlights storage vendors who are advancing innovation, delivering cutting-edge technology, and supporting high-impact strategic partnerships. This recognition further highlights Acronis’ commitment to cyber resilience, empowering businesses to not only recover from cyber threats, but also proactively protect against them.

Acronis has redefined cyber resilience by seamlessly integrating Extended Detection and Response (XDR) with ransomware recovery, making cybersecurity a central pillar of its solutions. Over the past year, the company has made significant enhancements in workload portability, secure backup, and Disaster Recovery (DR) by expanding support for Azure VM and Nutanix AHV. This enables turn-key backup and recovery across all computer platforms, including public cloud and hyper-converged infrastructure.

Acronis also expanded its cloud storage capabilities with geo-replication across more data centers and direct immutable backup to AWS S3, eliminating the need for gateways while increasing security and durability. DR has been elevated with faster incremental failback, a new public API for automated DR testing, integrations with platforms like ConnectWise Asio, and the introduction of a new DR Protection Dashboard.

These groundbreaking innovations have driven impressive year-over-year growth from Q1 2024 to Q1 2025 — 26% in backup and 58% in disaster recovery — paving the way for continued momentum into 2025, including expanded Cloud DR capabilities on Microsoft Azure and more.

“Being named to the CRN Storage 100 list is a significant milestone for Acronis and a clear reflection of our dedication to redefining what it means to be cyber resilient,” said Gerald Beuchelt, CISO at Acronis. “Acronis is delivering a long-needed capability to create a truly resilient environment with capabilities to actively fight-through a major security incident. We’ve made strategic advancements over the past year, from integrating XDR with ransomware recovery to enhancing cloud storage and DR. This recognition confirms that our innovative solutions are helping businesses not only recover from cyber threats but also stay ahead of emerging risks with proactive protection.”

The Storage 100 list serves as a valuable resource for solution providers looking to optimize their portfolios with critical storage technology in areas such as software-defined storage, data protection, management and resilience, and storage hardware components.

“We’re pleased to highlight the companies on the Storage 100 list for their commitment to working hand in hand with the channel to deliver transformational storage solutions,” said Jennifer Follett, VP, U.S. Content and Executive Editor, CRN, at The Channel Company. “These technology vendors consistently prioritize meaningful storage innovation and evolving partner strategies that advance success for all parts of the channel ecosystem.”

Coverage of the 2025 CRN Storage 100 list begins on April 14, 2025, at www.crn.com/storage100.
