A ransomware attack against Portuguese media group Impresa has taken offline SIC, the country's largest TV channel, as well as the weekly newspaper Expresso.
The Lapsus$ ransomware group has claimed responsibility for this cyberattack, stating also that they've gained access to the company's AWS account. This is the same cybercrime gang that also compromised the Brazilian Ministry of Health in December 2021, stealing 50 TB of data.
