This April, Microsoft's Patch Tuesday came with 128 vulnerability patches — the largest number of fixes seen in the monthly event since September of 2020.
Two of the patches address zero-day vulnerabilities that were already widely known. Ten are considered "critical", and 115 are considered "important". The two zero-day vulnerabilities are both related to escalation of privilege, giving attackers with basic access the potential ability to elevate their privileges to those of an administrator.
