Acronis Partnerships Vital Component of Business Success

London, 4 July 2018 - Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection currently celebrating its 15-year anniversary, will be hosting a reception during this weekend's Formula 1 2018 Rolex British Grand Prix for its UK-based business partners and customers. The exclusive event, designed to celebrate the vital role partners have played in the company's global success, will provide guests with a unique race day experience.

The event will also give guests an opportunity to meet with key executives from Williams Martini Racing who will discuss why they partnered with Acronis to protect their data.

Among Acronis' partners participating in this week's event is intY, the global cloud distributor who began working with Acronis in 2014. The partnership greatly extended intY's presence in the data protection market. In 2016, intY extended its deal with Acronis to include the complete portfolio of data protection and storage solutions. The company started offering Acronis Backup Cloud, Acronis Files Cloud, Acronis Backup Advanced, Acronis Files Advanced and Acronis Files Connect services via intY's self-service portal CASCADE, enabling partners to browse, order and manage services on behalf of their customers.

Earlier this year, the Acronis-intY partnership went through a further transformation, with intY becoming the first UK-based distributor to resell the new innovative Acronis Disaster Recovery Cloud, as part of the Acronis Data Cloud platform already integrated into the intY CASCADE portal.

Craig Joseph, CEO of intY commented: "Becoming the first UK based distributor of Acronis to have access to Acronis Disaster Recovery Cloud is a tremendous privilege and reinforces the faith that Acronis has in us to deliver this to the market, through our partner network. Acronis has supported us to create a product offering that is right for our partners and our mutual customers. We're looking forward to an even closer business relationship in the future."

"Partners like intY are the core of our business," said Jan-Jaap Jager, Chief Revenue Officer at Acronis. "We support our partners every step of the way. We have amazing cyber protection technology that is easy to resell and our partners, and their customers, love it!"

Acronis actively supports resellers and distributors through an effective partnership program designed to increase profitability and drive deeper engagement with their customers. Acronis currently works with more than 50,000 partners in 145 countries, adding over 2,000 new service providers in the last 12 months. Focusing on channels, Acronis rewards partners with generous deal registration rates, margins, rebates, and offers marketing development funds to drive customer engagement.
