Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 can back up and recover machines that use Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) in the same way as it does for machines that use BIOS for booting.
This applies to both physical and virtual machines, no matter if the virtual machines are backed up at a hypervisor level or from inside a guest OS.
Limitations
Out of GRUB boot loaders, only version 1 is supported. A system using GRUB 2 or a custom boot loader may not boot after recovery. You can recover a system that uses GRUB 2 only to the same machine with the same partition layout.
WinPE-based bootable media and Acronis PXE Server do not support UEFI booting. Use Linux-based bootable media on machines with UEFI boot firmware.
