What are you most looking forward to at the Acronis #CyberFit Summit?
Looking forward to meeting the cyber protection professionals together with the Acronis partners and exchange the news and challenges of our industry. Plus, we always look forward to catching up with existing contacts and making new friends while exploring new business opportunities because together with our partner Acronis we want to make storage and backup both secure and sexy again.
We are also keen to meet the new members of Acronis, in particular Patrick Pulvermueller, and listen to all of the inspirational speakers.
What kind of new tech will you be discussing or unveiling at the event?
Acronis Cyber Appliance, a cost-efficient, multi-purpose, scale-out storage solution. Acronis Cyber Appliance is the optimal choice for secure storage for backups. It is an easy-to-use data center for block, file and object storage. It comes with Acronis Cyber Infrastructure pre-deployed on a cluster of five servers contained in a single 3U chassis, which is available as both HDD and AFA models from 31TB useable capacity.

What are the biggest changes you expect to hit the industry in the next year?
AI is permeating every part of our lives — from voice assistants to astronomy image enhancement.
Everything-as-a-service - The ‘skills crisis’ has been a driver for self-service and DIY solutions. No-code interfaces are becoming popular and resolve the lack of programming knowledge. We will start to rely on the power of the crowd and see more democratization of data and technology.
Sustainability – The climate catastrophe is real. Average hardware refresh cycles of three years must change and technology must improve to deliver sufficient energy savings. Hardware must be built to be multi-purpose and to have an extended lifetime.
