Ahead of the Summit, we connected with Brian Furness, Senior Sales and Marketing Manager, Accxia, to weigh in on the company’s latest advances and what they’re most looking forward to at the Acronis #CyberFit Summit in Schaffhausen!
In a nutshell, what should our attendees know about your organization and what you can do to help make them more successful?
Accxia’s ONE Cloud hosts Europe’s largest private PaaS Cloud for Atlassian tools combined with the Cyber Secure Cloud to protect all IT assets. Accxia provides our clients with scalability and flexibility while managing complexity through a commitment to deliver effective ‘Business Process as a Service’. Our tools and client-driven processes help mitigate technical and commercial debt while positively influencing and accelerating our clients Digital Transformation Journeys. The Accxia ONE Cloud is unique. With 30 data centers located globally, Accxia delivers scalable and agile cybersecurity protection to our hosted clients through fast deployment and automation. Accxia and our ONE Cloud are trusted by our clients globally.
What are you most looking forward to at the Acronis #CyberFit Summit?
Accxia recently partnered with Acronis to enhance and complement our cloud offering to include cybersecurity with our PaaS services. As a relatively new Acronis MSP and established cloud services provider, we are very much looking forward to meeting our new friends and colleagues at Acronis alongside other CSPs and using information gathered at the Summit as a platform to learn from and then further develop our combined Accxia ONE Cloud proposition.
What kind of new tech will you be discussing or unveiling at the event?
In a world where public SaaS-based technology hosting (and Atlassian’s public cloud as an example) are becoming more prevalent but also more expensive — driving upwards the total cost of technology ownership — our objective is to showcase that there is a clear and alternative: more cost-effective and more cybersecure choice for our clients and prospects — all delivered through our PaaS based Accxia ONE Private Cloud proposition.
What track, session, or event, are you most excited about at the Acronis #CyberFit Summit?
As a new Acronis MSP, and a first-time attendee at an Acronis #CyberFit Summit, it is somewhat difficult to single out any particular session. However, we are particularly looking forward to understanding more about the Acronis roadmap and the session being delivered around the threats from attacks via email. This event will, we believe, cement our new relationship and partnership with Acronis. It will enable both Accxia and Acronis with the opportunity to find out more about each other and work on opportunities that are mutually beneficial.
Why did you decide to partner with Acronis for the #CyberFit Summit?
We believe that as a new Acronis MSP, it was important to be visible and to deliver our Accxia ONE Private PaaS hosting messaging as impactfully as possible. We hope our sponsorship for the #CyberFit event in Schaffhausen demonstrates our firm commitment to Acronis and our intention, moving forward, to expand and grow our cybersecurity offering aligned to our unique Accxia ONE private cloud proposition.
How can clients benefit from your services/products?
Our Accxia ONE cloud provides our clients with scalability and flexibility while managing complexity through a commitment to deliver effective ‘Business Process as a Service’. Our tools and client-driven processes help mitigate technical and commercial debt while positively influencing and accelerating our clients’ digital transformation journeys.
What are the biggest changes you expect to hit the industry in the next year?
We believe that the threat of cyberattacks and ransomware attacks is only set to increase during 2022. Because of this, we also believe that many organizations will consider a move away from the larger SaaS public cloud hosting partners for fear of hosting their data within a potentially large target for cybercriminals. GDPR issues have also become an issue in hosting within public cloud environments. The attack on Kaseya this year and the 70 million Bitcoin ransom shook the industry! We also believe that public SaaS-based hosting environments will become simply too expensive particularly for SMEs organizations. We also believe that the TCO’s delivered through smaller private cloud partners such as Accxia will grow.
Tell us your best piece of business advice for the IT channel audience at the Summit!
Speed, automation and zero-touch processes will be the essence of a digital business model.
Our advice to the IT channel audience at the #AcronisCyberFitSummit is to recognize and prepare for the fact that by the end of 2022, it is expected that more than half the global economy will be based on or influenced by ‘digital’ as most products and services utilize a digital delivery model or require digital augmentation to remain competitive. To compete in a digital-first world, organizations will need to prioritize their investments in digital tools to augment physical spaces and assets. As a result, more than half of all information and communications technology investments will be linked to digital transformation by 2024.
