Acronis True Image Update — Family Data Protection Made Even Better!

You told us what you wanted in the latest update of Acronis True Image and we delivered just in time for the holidays!

In response to customer feedback, Acronis just announced an update to Acronis True Image Cloud and Acronis True Image 2016 that includes three major enhancements:

1. New Family Data Protection Features — Now, your family IT manager can more easily protect your family’s computers, smart phones, and tablets — and keep your precious holiday photos and memories safe. Acronis True Image Cloud now separates the backups that you create on your current computer from those created on other computers, making it easier than ever to manage and view your back ups for each device. And don’t forget, you can manage multiple devices from a centralized web-based dashboard, letting you protect and manage all your computers, mobile phones and tablets from a single place. It's perfect for families with multiple devices.

2. Easier User Experience — Customers love our new dashboard but we are making it even better with improvements to the Acronis True Image user interface. You can now view your data upload speed for online backups and the estimated time for the archiving files and data. The latest update also provides an improved status indicator of different backup stages to give users more visibility into the status of their backups. .

3. Improved Archiving Frees up Storage Space on Devices — Don’t you hate it when you go to take that video of a lifetime, but you are out of storage space on your device?  Acronis has improved the cloud archiving feature in Acronis True Image, so you can quickly move files, videos, and pictures to the cloud rather than storing them on your device. Acronis True Image Cloud provides support for archives with more than 100,000 files in a single folder. Never run out of space on your iPhone or Android device again!

Finally, Acronis True Image now supports backing up files larger than 4GB. You can custom select the Acronis Cloud data center you want to use. We also improved the usability of the backup list and the backup and archiving progress behavior.

And it's all available just in time for the holiday season!
