Acronis True Image Enterprise Server, Acronis True Image Server for Linux featured
April 18, 2005, South San Francisco, CA Acronis, Inc., the technological leader in storage management software, announced that it will demonstrate its newly updated Acronis True Image Enterprise Server 8.0 and Acronis True Image Server 8.0 for Linux at the upcoming MySQL User Conference April 1821 in Santa Clara, CA. This will mark the first public demonstration of the new features announced earlier this month.
Among the updates to Acronis True Image Enterprise Server offering are the ability to start and stop database applications in order to create a point-in-time snapshot of the database, restore systems remotely from the management console, and save backup images to remote tape drives.
Acronis True Image Server for Linux continues to be the only commercial-grade disk imaging server software for this popular operating system.
